Hiroshima, Japan.
Thousands and thousand of paper cranes, folded by children across Japan in memory of Sadako Sasaki. She was one of the victims of the atom bomb dropped over Hiroshima. When she was dying in leukemia she was told a tale in which your wish will come true if you fold over 1000 paper cranes. She managed to fold 642 before her death, so she never found out if her wish would come true.
These cranes are stored in see-through booths, and there was an enormous amount of them. So beautiful.
In the Peace Memorial area there's a flame burning. The flame will burn as long as there are nuclear weapons on the Earth. I want it to stop.
During the visit in Hiroshima i cried several times. I'm even feeling sad right now when I think about it. Argh.
